Valentines / Galentines

February is the big month of love and with current lockdowns, we all want to show the people we love that we do, so just how do you say I love you or I am thinking of you...

Here are some of my go to sites for people who know how to put it all together for you and deliver it to your friend, your someone special, your Mum or your Dad, whoever it is that you want to send that virtual hug this month to and #sharethelove.

Say it with flowers....

Well I can't think of anyone better than Flowers by Moira, a Mother and Daughter team that have been in business just about as long as I can remember. They are innovative in their business and have the most beautiful arrangements, something to suit everyone. Jenny is an award winning RHS Chelsea Florist and her creations are spectacular. This Mother and Daughter team also run a flower academy so maybe you would prefer to give your special someone the gift of one of their classes, check out the link to their site for further details.

Oooh to open a Box of Joy...

To open a box of goodies that are ethical and sourced here in Ireland I cannot think of anything nicer, from items such as a beautiful stone diffuser from Irish Brand Kotanical and there stunning essential oil with some tasty Irish chocolate and teas mixed in with some lovely beauty products now I think anyone receiving one of these boxes can only be filled with joy. A Box of Joy ethos is all about sourcing gifts from socially and environmentally conscious businesses, local suppliers, innovative start-ups, small businesses and artisan producers. I think you will be impressed with their wonderful re-usable packaging too.

Taking the love to interiors ...

I have two that I think are worth sharing here, one is a colour expert, she lives, breaths and in general if you asked her to speak about colour she would be in her most happy place. Adele Roche is a colour consultant and has been asked to consult in the most amazing of places that she is way to modest to boast about so will spare her blushes and just continue to say that any consultation with Adele about colour is fantastic and if you are looking to re-design a home or an interior and I would like to take a risk with colour but not sure how to work it without it looking slightly crazy this lady is the one to take time with. So a treat of a colour consultation or a booking of on one of Adele's course is another way to #sharethelove.

My other interior love is Chalk and Easel, Emily has the most beautiful products and she delivers too. I just love her handwoven McNutt of Donegal products but there is so many more items in her treasure trove.

Last but by no means least is ...

Lovely beauty products from Josie's Botanicals these beautiful products are all about self care and what a better time for self care. From the beautiful essential oils that are in each product but the care and attention from Barbara herself within each product. You know that you are receiving luxury at an affordable price. Actually as we speak I am just popping a little bit of her hand repair cream on which is just beautiful, especially in these times of harsh hand sanitiser etc.

Anyhow whatever you choose, I am sure just #sharethelove is all that matters and I know there are so many other beautiful products out there on the market, but these are just some of my favourites and they are all Irish.
